Halloween mashed potato ghosts
Well, here it is: Halloween!! Your little ones are running around all excited. They are so ready to wander the streets trick or treating in search of candy that will make their little hearts and souls pound with a major sugar rush. But before they get going, you want to make sure that everyone has had a warm nutritious meal! Since you only have precious little time before they’ll want to get going, here is a delicious suggestion that will for one thing let the entertainment begin and leave your kiddies full and ready to attack the fun!
For this special recipe, we recommend the use of our cream and butter mashed potatoes. Follow the instructions on the back of the package to prepare the potatoes. When cooked, let the potatoes cool down for about 5 to 10 minutes then place them in a ziploc bag. Snip one of the bag’s corners and pipe the mashed potato “ghosts” on top of your shepherd pie mix. Use carrots, peas or black sesame seeds to make the eyes.
