I made yesterday’s recipe of grilled calf liver with onions and mushrooms not too long ago and I was left with some sautéed mushrooms and onions that I thought would be perfect mixed in with some cream & butter mashed potatoes. I accompanied some grilled chicken breast with this fabulous mix and by the time the chicken was done cooking, dinner was ready! I love sautéed onions and would probably make these mashed potatoes again, they are absolutely delicious!
