Baked pita crisps with cheese and salsa

There is no precise recipe for this. I like to add whatever I’m in the mood for that day, whatever is in season at the market or whatever I find in the fridge! In the winter I tend to use heartier cheeses, mushrooms and olives and in the summer more fresh tomatoes and grilled veggies. So let your imagination go and add whatever you like, it’ll be yummy in the end and I am positive everyone will love it! Share with us what toppings you used, I am always curious about things I may not have thought of!


  • In Snax Sea Salt crisps
  • Your favourite salsa

For the toppings (examples shown in the picture below)

  • Sautéed mushrooms
  • Olives
  • Different kinds of cheeses (mozzarella, parmesan, feta, etc.)
  • Prosciutto
  • Grilled zucchinis
  • Sautéed peppers
  • Herbs (parsley, oregano, thyme, coriander, etc.)


  1. Spread the pita crisps in a pan or on a cookie sheet
  2. Top with whatever ingredients you have on hand
  3. Top with whatever cheese or mix of cheeses you are using
  4. Place under the broiler for a few minutes or until the cheese has melted
  5. Serve as is or with a side of guacamole

  • Croustilles au sel marin In Snax
  • Votre salsa préférée

Pour les garnitures (exemples sur la photo ci-dessus)

  • Champignons sautés
  • Olives
  • Différentes sortes de fromages (mozzarella, parmesan, feta, etc.)
  • Prosciutto
  • Zucchinis grillées
  • Poivrons sautés
  • Herbes  fraîches (persil, origan, thym, coriandre, etc.)


  1. Étalez les croustilles sur un plat allant au four ou sur une tôle à biscuits
  2. Mettez vos garnitures sur les croustilles
  3. Étalez le ou les fromages dessus
  4. Placez le tout sous la grille du four quelques minutesou jusqu’à ce que le fromage fonde
  5. Servir tel quel ou avec de la guacamole à côté
