Recipe: Cheria’s olive tapenade

I love olives, I really do! Must be my Greek blood! :) So you can imagine how much I love preparing this quick and delicious olive tapenade to entertain with or just to munch on in front of the TV. Try it and I am sure it will quickly become one of your favourites as well.


  • 2 cups of pitted green and Kalamata olives mixed
  • 1 tsp of red chili preserve (you can also use 1 red hot pepper minced)
  • 2 cloves of fresh garlic
  • 1/4 cup of roasted pine nuts
  • Olive oil
  • In Snax sea salt pita crisps


  1. Place all the ingredients, except for the olive oi,l in a blender or food processor and process
  2. Drizzle 2 tablespoons of olive oil while it’s blending to emulsify
  3. Serve in a bowl alongside some In Snax sea salt pita crisps

En français:


  • 2 tasses d’olives vertes et d’olives Kalamata dénoyautées
  • 1 petite cuillère de marmelade de piment rouge (ou un petit piment rouge fort haché finement)
  • 2 gousses d’ail frais
  • 1/4 tasses de noix de pins rôties
  • Huile d’olive
  • Croustilles de pita In Snax au sel de mer


  1. Placez tous les ingrédients sauf l’huile d’olive dans un robot et hachez
  2. Versez 2 cuillères à soupe d’huile d’olive pendant que ça tourne pour bien émulsifier
  3. Servir dans un bol avec les croustilles de pita In Sxax
