Entertaining: cedar-smoked brie with raspberry-mint jam

This is a such great recipe to entertain with! It’s a fresh take on the cheese and cracker appetizer and will have your guests swooning I’m sure! The combination of melted brie and raspberry jam is just divine! Throw this on the barbecue at your next outdoor party and serve it to your guests while they wait for the main meal to be ready…

Ingredients:

  • 1 untreated cedar plank
  • 1 medium-sized brie wheel
  • 1/2 cup raspberry jam
  • 1 Tbs fresh mint, minced
  • 2 bags of sea salt In Snax pita crisps

Method:

  1. Soak the cedar plank in cold water overnight (or at least one hour)
  2. Preheat your barbecue to high
  3. Place your plank on the barbecue and heat up for about 5 minutes
  4. Place your brie on the plank and cook for about 10 minutes
  5. Mix the jam with the mint and serve alongside the brie with some sea salt In Snax pita crisps

Ingrédients:

  • 1 planche de cèdre non traitée
  • 1 rondelé de brie de dimension moyenne
  • 1/2 tasse de confiture de framboise
  • 1 grande cuillère de feuille de menthe fraiche émincées
  • 2 sacs de croustilles au sel de mer In Snax

Méthode:

  1. Trempez la planche de cèdre dans de l’eau froide la veille (ou au moins pendant une heure)
  2. Préchauffer votre barbecue à feu fort
  3. Placez la planche sur le grill et chauffez pendant 5 minutes
  4. Placez le brie sur la planche et faites cuire une dizaine de minutes
  5. Mélangez la confiture avec la menthe et servez avec le brie fondu et des croustilles au sel de mer In Snax
