Hosting an Easter brunch and making it a fun kid activity!
Easter weekend is coming up in a few days. I don’t know about you but I love hosting an Easter brunch. It’s the perfect way of celebrating Easter, spring and family and friends.
Hosting a brunch takes a bit of organizing, as I had mentioned in one of my previous posts. However, it doesn’t have to be stressful and you definitely don’t have to spend your time slaving behind a hot stove while everyone is having fun.
If you need something to occupy the kids while you’re prepping, then get them cooking and make brunch a fun activity that they can participate in! Put an apron on them, even a chef’s hat and give them something to do. They will enjoy it and you will be able to do what you need to do without being interrupted. Depending on their ages, they can help crack eggs, mix batter or omelets, roll out dough, dip bread to make french toast, etc.
Cooking brunch has never been more fun! Enjoy!
