We end this week of Mashed potatoes made easy with a classic -and fun!- recipe. Your kids will love this new way of eating one of Quebec’s most traditional dishes: shepherd’s pie. They will be even more enthusiastic about eating it if they help assemble it, which is a very kid-friendly activity in the kitchen. Moms will love this dish because with the help of In Cuisin, it will only take about 15 minutes to put together!

Ingredients:

  • 2 bags of In Cuisin butter and cream
  • 1 lb of ground beef
  • 1 minced onion
  • 1 can of corn

Method:

  1. Sauté the onion and the meat until the meat is cooked thoroughly, about 10 minutes.
  2. Cook the mashed potatoes according to the instructions on the bag.
  3. Assemble in a glass of your choice by putting some of the meat mixture at the bottom of the glass then topping with the corn and the mashed potatoes.

Ingrédients:

  • 2 sacs de purée de pommes de terre In Cuisin beurre et crème
  • 1 lb dde bœuf hâché
  • 1 oignon coupé en petits dés
  • 1 boite de maïs

Méthode:

  1. Faites sauter l’oignon et la viande jusqu’à cuisson complète de la viande (environ 10 minutes).
  2. Faites cuire la purée de pommes de terre In Cuisin en suivant les instructions sur le sac.
  3. Assemblez le tout en déposant au fond d’un verre un peu de viande puis un peu de maïs et enfin la purée de pommes de terre.
