In Cuisin launch party and contest!

Last night’s In Cuisin launch event with Chuck Hughes was a huge success, thanks in part to La Guilde Culinaire and of course, Chuck himself. I would like to thank everyone at La Guilde for making this possible as well as Chuck himself for being his ever-charming self ☺ I know some of you were looking forward to meeting him and I hope you all got to talk to him for a bit! I also would like to thank all of you for coming out and participating in this exciting event! It was so much fun to meet you all and get to associate a face with all those tiny Twitter avatars and fabulous food blogs out there! I hope you enjoyed the evening as much as I did! Congratulations to Elizabeth Touchette for winning the dinner for 2 gift certificate to Chuck’s restaurant: Le Garde-Manger. As promised yesterday, we will be sending out the recipes with pictures of each bouchée within the next day or so… In the meantime, I would like to give you all some details of the second fabulous contest we announced last night.

You’ve all tasted the In Cuisin and In Snax products last night in the form of the very tasty, savory as well as sweet, hors-d’œuvres created by the chefs of La Guilde Culinaire and Chuck. You’ve also gone home with a goodie bag filled with some of those products so you can play around with them in the comfort of your own kitchens. Now, I’ve seen some of your blogs and I know we have some fabulous amateur chefs out there so we are putting you all to the challenge! The person to come up with the best and most creative recipe using one (or more!) of the In Cuisin and In Snax products will win another gift certificate for dinner for 2 at Le Garde-Manger!

Contest details:

What to do: Come up with a great recipe using the In Cuisin and/or In Snax products. Post the title as well as a picture of the recipe on our Facebook wall. You have until Friday October 29, 2010 to participate.

When: The winner will be announced on this blog on Monday November 1, 2010. Chuck Hughes will look at all your pictures and recipe titles and pick the most creative one.

Bonus: I (Cheria) will make the recipe in the form of a video blog and it will be featured on our blog within the next few weeks! With full credit to the creator of the recipe of course!

So are you ready to put your creative chef’s hats on and get cooking? We can’t wait to see what you will come up with! This contest is open to everyone in Montreal, not just the people who were present at the In Cuisin event so if you want to participate, please go ahead! Good luck to everyone!

Tel que promis hier durant le lancement de produits In Cuisin hier soir, je vous annonce aujourd’hui notre deuxième concours pour courir la chance de gagner un certificat cadeau pour le restaurant de Chuck Hughes: Le Garde-Manger. Ce concours est ouvert à tous les résidents de Montréal, même aux personnes qui n’étaient pas présentes à la soirée d’hier. J’ai vu certains de vos blogues et je sais que vous êtes très créatifs alors j’attends vos participations avec hâte!

Quoi faire: Créez une recette créative en utilisant les produits In Cuisin et/ou In Snax. Téléchargez le titre de votre recette ainsi qu’une photo sur notre page Facebook. Vous avez jusqu’au vendredi 29 octobre 2010 pour soumettre votre recette.

Quand: Le gagnant sera annoncé sur ce blog le 1er novembre 2010. Chuck Hughes examinera toutes vos soumissions et décidera quelle recette sera la plus gagnante.

Bonus: Je (Cheria) publierais la recette sous forme de vidéo pour ce blogue même d’ici quelques semaines ! Avec tout les crédits nécessaires au créateur de la recette, bien sûr !
